Team Cayman won a category silver medal at the 45th Chess Olympiad in Budapest in 2024. National champion Kudakwashe Chinake and federation president Shaun Tracey both qualified for the Candidate Master title.
Laia Swaminathan, the national women's champion, also played for Cayman in Budapest.
